I was tired, worn out, and pushing through on real 'grunt' power. After looking at my brain graphs (EEG) she could see that I had an "anxiety brain". This was hugely helpful in that I realized I wasn't going mad! It's only been a week, but I feel as though I have reason to be hopefully of a permanent change for the first time in many years. I am sure you have already impacted so many people's lives positively.

I discovered Dr. Trish and the concept of neurofeedback training on a whim one day while surfing the internet in immense desperation to find help with my lifetime of extreme misophonia and all the anxiety and negative habits that go along with it.
I have suffered from severe misophonia since I was 3 years old. My biggest triggers are those who I am around most of the time, so growing up, it was my immediate family, Mom, Dad, little brother, their mannerisms, voice sounds, etc., and my Mom’s voice even to this day of my 43 years, is still my biggest trigger. I now have my own life and home away from my amazing, loving family and my partner’s voice is my current major trigger.
Misophonia and all the crap it causes me mentally has created a lifetime of negative thinking, doubt, shame, and an inability to understand and get the help I need. It’s changed the course of my life and what it could have been many times over, I assure you. I didn’t know how to deal with it all after a lifetime of reacting the only way I knew how, my brain was not operating optimally in the least.
I have searched for help via different mediums for years, with not much success. Misophonia doesn’t have a cure per say, and most doctors don’t even help much with it. So I always felt helpless, and like I would never get better. A lifetime of living this way, in these feelings of pain and frustration, I couldn’t bear to think of living the rest of my life that way, in stress, contraction, and silent solitude.
So I found Dr. Trish and her program online. I started reading all the information on her website. There was so much to read, but it was all amazing and positive. It made sense and resonated with me highly. I called in and talked to both Dr. Trish and Jamie, who have been both nothing short of amazing. I decided to commit to the program, not feeling as if there was any other way.
I started my neurofeedback program back in July of this year. Here we are now in November and I’m truly baffled at how gently, yet effectively this program is working for me. They’ll tell you in the beginning that once you really get into the training, with time and effort of doing your protocol, you just one day notice without really noticing how good you feel, how little things that you weren’t able to do before, or felt like you couldn’t, but now you can. Then you think, wow, when did that happen! It gives you strength and purpose, it makes you feel like you can do it. If I can do it, anyone can.
I had a lot of issues in the beginning, getting my Muse headband connected correctly, getting my brain to be calm enough to yield a mapped reading, etc. I attribute most of that to my stress levels and truly not believing in myself at the beginning of all this. It’s wild how in our own heads we can all get, and how that in turn inhibits us.
And during all of that, Jamie went above and beyond to help me get started. She’d call me and talk daily, was so kind, patient, and supportive. She even arranged for a live zoom call with a rep from Muse to help me get my headband working properly. Jamie’s kindness and help alone in that moment was enough to show me how much these people care and want to help us all be of the best minds we can.
This program has changed and continues to upgrade my life in ways I never believed possible. I am so grateful to Dr. Trish, Jamie, and their team for helping me more than anyone has ever before. And I’m proud of myself for making this a habit, and now a lifestyle.

Getting a scientific basis from a neurological perspective is very helpful, rather than just relying on religious or spiritual dogma on what purity is, which can bring shame. To be able to see what are harmful cause and effect and why is very helpful and powerful (because of scientific rigid) as you get a perspective, and you really don't see anywhere else. You learn the ripple effect of what you do in your life and learn how to rewire your brain to be healthier.

I've been with this program for the past five months and I can tell you that their program is the most useful place I've ever encounter. Dr. Leigh and her team are very helpful and caring when it comes down when you are facing addiction and other issues you had in the past. Using their tools and strategies really put the old habits behind. I highly recommended it you guys!
I am noticing a change in myself since starting this program with Dr. Trish. I am beginning to enjoy social interaction with people which I felt anxiety with before. The brain/body science makes sense and I can learn at my own pace with the way she teaches.

I've been listening to Dr Leigh for 9 months but just recently started a program. Having an organized approach has been helpful. I've got a long way to go but I have hope like I've never had before. I did the 4 month Home Neurofeedback program with Dr. Trish Leigh and Co. I can't say enough about how helpful it's been for me. Because of my addictive issues, I became separated from my wife. My anxiety after that was overwhelming at times. The neurofeedback helped with that immensely. It also helped with my memory and to feel like I could get an emotional reset after letting out my grief, instead of being stuck in it. And it helped with my focus too.
