You can watch your thoughts because they become your personality. Your thoughts come from the way your brain is working. Then they travel back and rewire your brain for better or worse. If you notice that you are having many negative thoughts, then you say them and make people mad, I am talking to you. If you consistently have problems in your life it is likely it is because you are thinking from a problem framework.
You probably have heard of the quote:
Your thoughts become your words
Your words become your actions
Your actions become your habits
Your habits become your character
Your character become your personality.
How do your thoughts become personality?
That cascading effect starts with your brain. You can use your brain to watch your thoughts because they become your personality. Your brain will hard wire itself to keep moving in the same direction. So if you are a negative thinker, this might take some work at the beginning. You can do it. Start 1 positive thought at a time.
So, if there is an aspect of your life that is not bringing you happiness or even worse causing you problems, start rewiring your brain. Do it one thought at a time. Before you speak a word think to yourself, “how is this thought going to wire my brain?” If it is a good wiring, go for it. If it will keep wiring in your problem, don’t do it. Throw that thought away.
